Job Description

A market leading legal services provider is seeking a Senior IT Engineer to take the lead role in the delivery of desktop applications and their updates. The successful candidate will provide problem solving skills into the area of IT applications and communicate issues and actions with colleagues in the IT Group as well as across the firm.

The role holder will need to be an exceptional communicator as they will be required to work towards developing positive working relationships throughout the organisation.

Essential technical requirements of the role include:

* Experience of configuration and deployment of applications
* Active Directory configuration and administration
* Patch management
* Group policy administration
* Microsoft OS and Office configuration and deployment

Ideally the candidate will also have had exposure to:

* Citrix XenApp and Desktop
* Document Management systems
* Digital dictation
* IBM Notes
* Inprotech
* ITIL and Prince 2
* Sophos endpoint protection suite
* VMware
