The Royal Foundation and Earthshot Prize Partnership
We are proud that The Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales chose the Ashdown Group to be its exclusive recruitment partner for The Earthshot Prize, a not-for-profit start-up which was incubated within The Royal Foundation and was spun out to become an affiliated independent organisation.
We partnered with The Royal Foundation to create a bespoke attraction strategy focussed on identifying a diverse pool of executives who combine a passion for social enterprise with the requisite leadership skills and experience to join the board of a high-profile organisation. These key members of the senior leadership team will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing the strategy of The Earthshot Prize as it rapidly scales up over the course of the next decade and delivers on its truly inspiring vision.
About the Royal Foundation
The Earthshot Prize:
The Earthshot Prize is the most prestigious global environment prize in history, designed to incentivise change and help repair our planet over the next ten years.
The Prize aims to turn the current pessimism surrounding environmental issues into optimism, by highlighting the ability of human ingenuity to bring about change, and inspiring collective action.
Taking inspiration from President John F. Kennedy's Moonshot which united millions of people around an organising goal to put man on the moon and catalysed the development of new technology in the 1960s, The Earthshot Prize is centred around five 'Earthshots' - simple but ambitious goals for our planet which if achieved by 2030 will improve life for us all, for generations to come.
