This is an opportunity to help manage the HR function of a well-established Facilities Services company. This role will report into the Managing Director and will be managing an HR Advisor.

The role is paying up to £45,000 plus a car allowance and will be based out of the company's East London Head Office. The hours are 9am-5pm Monday-Friday.

The HR Manager will be responsible for providing support and guidance to senior leadership, managers and employees including implementation of HR policies and processes, recruitment, learning and development and all aspects of performance management.

Key responsibilities include:

* Leading development, implementation and maintenance of HR policies
* Leading employee relations efforts including internal communications and developing/implementing strategies
* Providing support to managers to develop the skills and capabilities of their staff and managing talent across the business
* Managing attendance, sickness and disciplinary and grievance procedures
* Staff recruitment and on-going training/appraisals
* Managing all HR administration and systems improving where possible
* Designing, implementing and managing key HR KPI information to support driving improvements in the business.

Ideally the candidate will have/be:

* Degree qualification or equivalent
* Managerial experience in a similar role
* CIPD qualified
* Experience working in a professional business services environment
* Excellent knowledge and understanding of employment law and how to implement into HR policies
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
