Job Description

A well-established international charity has a brand new opportunity for a talented Digital and Communications Manager to join their office in Central London, on a permanent part time basis.

This comes at an exciting time for the organisation, as the charity is about to begin a period of significant growth in the UK, to solidify their presence nationally and raise brand awareness.

The role requires an individual with a proven track record of developing and implementing communications strategies across social media and web, as well as experience creating high quality digital content and other activities to support brand awareness.

The ideal candidate will come from a charity sector or not-for-profit background and have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, as well as an independent and proactive approach to building and engaging the supporter base.

The Digital and Communications Manager role will include all of the below responsibilities:

*Developing the charity's online presence via websites and social media
*Creating and implementing targeted digital campaigns
*Write engaging content for both web and social media
*Overseeing the technical management of the website
*Developing and improving best practice policies for social media
*Ensuring the organisation are maximising their use of online platforms to optimise fundraising
*Reviewing the charity's print media, e-marketing and donor communications strategy
*Securing local and national media coverage of the charity's events and campaigns
*Liaising with third parties such as external designers and event managers
The overall the aim of the position is to build, design and execute engaging and effective public campaigns, in order to grow the charity's UK presence and membership base.
