Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a personable IT Support Specialist to join a highly regarded professional media business. This is an excellent opportunity which requires technical leadership and a hands on approach.

Reporting to the Director and working closely with the wider team based in the US, the successful candidate will take a leading role in shaping the success of the IT function. The successful candidate will take sole responsibility for IT support within the London office and will remotely assist the US based team too, whilst constantly coordinating projects to ensure fluidity and alignment across the business.
You will lead all levels of support for around 30 users in the London office, on standard systems and configurations, fundamentally holding responsibility for the day to day workload of the IT support function, ensuring all issues are tracked and dealt with efficiently.
To be successful in this role it is essential that you have fantastic customer service skills, with the ability to professionally support the user base in a timely fashion. Your daily duties will range from; planning, designing and installing systems, providing user support desk side or remotely, logging all issues using the ticketing system and setting up and troubleshooting software and hardware.

In addition, you will be responsible for:

-Fully supporting a Windows Server and Desktop environment
-Maintaining the audio visual suite for the organisation
-Advising users on best practice and offering training when required
-Leading various projects across the London office

The ideal candidate would be coming from a small to medium sized environment, in a standalone capacity or within a small team and looking to take the next step in their career. Although not essential to securing the role, a background within the media or entertainment industry would be considered highly advantageous. Additionally, it is essential that you are an effective communicator and all round IT professional who enjoys going above and beyond.
