Job Description

A market leading financial services company is seeking an Office and Facilities Assistant to undertake a full range of general administrative tasks in the London Bridge office.

This will be a rolling 1 month contract, is a full time role, and is paying up to £125 per day.

Immediate starters are required. They would like to hold interviews at their London Bridge office on Friday 11th January.

The Role requires 'unflappability' and the ability to get things done. A real 'can-do' attitude is essential. This is a fast paced position in a very busy office - the ability to act quickly and with high attention to detail is essential.

Responsibilities include:

*Implement and maintain an H&S induction for all new joiners ensuring all requirements are fulfilled including staff photo, fire safety etc.
*Be point of contact for all external visitors and suppliers and first on call tree
*Manage and maintain stock levels for: stationery, kitchen and consumables, toners, paper etc.
*Manage rota and organise schedules for regular maintenance of carpets, fire extinguishers / H&S equipment
*Set up new Powwownow PINS
*Respond to queries from staff and act as a general support to all employees
*Meeting room set ups as required
*Complete petty cash requisitions as required
*Lead and manage the archiving system alongside other EA's
*Maintenance & cleaning of coffee machine
*Opening and distributing incoming post
*Logging and processing outgoing post/recorded deliveries etc.
*Booking couriers
*Maintaining toner etc. in photocopiers
*Maintain relationship with Finance, distributing invoices, chasing up and sending back to Finance
*Monitor the condition of office fittings and fixtures, reporting faults to building managers/landlords and organising repairs as required
*Manage and maintain office and kitchen equipment
