With the freedom to design and innovate strategy, this is an excellent specialist role, and an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding marketing led multi-billion pound organisation that utilises cutting-edge technology and every available media channel. The business is at the forefront of a gaming industry delivering entertainment to millions of people every day via their mobiles, tablets and desktop computers.

The role focuses on the design and delivery of optimised B2C customer journey and CRM channel strategy in either casino or sports betting. With best-of-breed business intelligence available and experts in every department, your communications strategy must drive sales, cross-sell, increase loyalty and improve retention, against forecasted profits and margins.

The business operates across a large number of markets, territories and channels and your comprehensive strategy must include email, SMS, messaging apps and push notifications.

You will be seeking areas to innovate, to find critical areas to enhance the customer journey and experience.

Testing is crucial. You will be expected to be an authority to the business on practical and beneficial testing processes with excellent knowledge of test-and-learn techniques and general testing rigour.

Further, you will be expected to deliver presentations that offer an insight into the challenges you face. It will require commercial analysis of large-complex data-sets and the ability to make clear, deliverable recommendations from your finds. Also, you will work on personalisation, competitor analysis and automation.

You will probably have worked at an online gaming company. However, you may have been with a renowned online consumer business, perhaps in a subscription market or for a blockbuster Internet retailer with an extensive product portfolio and significant user base.

You must have email, mobile and push communication campaigns; completely understand online customer behaviour; be able to work independently; have the presence to deliver to an audience; have worked across multiple regions; be analytical, innovative and creative; and be an authority on testing.

The salary on offer is up to £50,000 as a basic, and there is a 15% company performance-based bonus available.
