Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly driven Sales and Business Development professional, to really get in the game at an emerging growth technology company with a UK wide reach and an impressive and fast-growing list of clients to their name.

They have an opening for a highly driven sales person who wants to build a client base, not simply inherit one, working with a portfolio of technology products and solutions. This is a highly visible role and you'll have opportunities to work directly with the senior leadership, challenge the status quo, apply cutting-edge ideas, and take complete ownership of specific projects and client-facing functions.

Covering the east coast of Scotland, you will look to develop a Sales Plan for your territory, identifying new business targets, as well as developing existing accounts and building relationships with key decision makers across these businesses.

To secure this role you will have strong TECHNICAL Sales experience with a proven track record of managing and growing accounts, securing new business and completing the end to end sales lifecycle (cold call to closing the sale). You will have successfully sold IT Solutions or IT products and appearing credible talking around solutions and interpreting customer requirements. Any background or specialist knowledge around IT infrastructure, IT Security or networking would be particularly advantageous, but not essential to securing the role.

The basic starting salary will be up to £35,000 with uncapped commission. The commission structure is clearly defined, as are the KPI's, ensuring you have opportunities to earn monthly, 6 monthly and yearly commission and bonuses. They also offer an in-depth training period, giving you time to fully understand and familiarise yourself with their products and solution offerings and to ensure you are in a position to succeed in both meeting and exceeding your targets once your training has finished. In addition, you will receive a company car, fuel card, mobile phone, laptop or tablet.
