Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a recent graduate or college leaver with IT or Computer Science based qualifications to join a market leading business as their 1st Line IT Support Analyst.

This technology focused business based in impressive offices in Kingston Upon Thames are looking for a bright, user focused IT support professional to provide 1st line end user support via telephone, email and face to face.

Key responsibilities will include:

1st line support in person, by phone and remotely for workstations/laptops, and end user applications.
Escalate problems when required to 2nd and 3rd line support staff.
Record, track and document the Help Desk request problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to final resolution.
Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, and configuring systems and applications.
Assist in monitoring and maintaining services central to PC support e.g. Antivirus systems, Windows updates, windows deployment, device use etc.

The ideal candidate will have gained 6 to 12 months experience providing 1st line support in a Windows environment; Windows 7, 8.1 and 10 experience would be advantageous. You will be familiar with the Microsoft Office suite and have an understanding of ITIL principles.

The salary on offer for this role is £20,000 plus benefits.
