Job Description

A well respected and international specialist technology law firm, who invest heavily in their technology, are now seeking a Service Desk Team Leader for their high performing IT team, in fantastic offices in the heart of the City.

Working closely with the IT Management Team, you will also lead a small but growing IT Support team, overseeing the delivery of an excellent support service across the organisation, assisting with computer hardware, software, telephone/mobiles and issues with other IT peripherals. You will assist with the general administration of the network, as well as the configuration, setup and upgrade of new and current computers.

This is a professional services environment where excellent communication skills, a customer centric approach to your work and an appreciation of working in a partnership environment and a willingness to go above and beyond are all desired attributes and are both recognised and rewarded.

To be suitable for this role you will ideally have some previous supervisory or mentoring experience within your current or recent roles and demonstrate strong 2nd line support skills.

The successful candidate will be of graduate calibre and ideally hold some IT qualifications. They will have knowledge of:
Windows 2008/2012
Active Directory and Group Policy
Networking infrastructure - such as TCP/IP, routing, managed switches, firewalls, DHCP,DNS and SMTP,
Windows 7 and 10
Office 365.

Some experience with VMware, VMware Horizon, VEEAM Backup or Replicon would be considered particularly advantageous, although not essential to securing this role.
