IT Support Technician
Paying up to £30,000 (working from home/remotely/on-site)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a small IT Managed Service Provider for an on-site/remote IT Support Technician to join a team supporting mostly Financial Services City-based clients.

Working alongside the Founder and two other IT Engineers, the role holder will help provide all aspects of and all levels (1st-2nd and some 3rd line) of on-site IT support to clients.

The role offers the flexibility to work from home when appropriate (when not on a client site). Naturally client facing communication skills are a pre-requisite. Working hours would be 8am-5pm

Candidates must have solid technical skills within a Microsoft infrastructure ideally up to 2nd-3rd line support level:

* Windows Server 2008 to latest server environments, Windows 7, 8 and Windows 10.
* Active Directory (control users, groups and permissions)
* Knowledge of MS Exchange would be good but not essential.
* Email and email archive solutions such as Google G Suite and MS Office 365.
* Virtualisation products - MS Hyper-V, VMWare etc.
* Switch / routing / firewall appliances.

Candidates possessing qualifications from Microsoft would be of particular interest, but this is by no means an essential requirement.
