A highly successful business in Leicester has engaged the Ashdown Group to help in their search for a Project Manager to deliver IT and Business Change projects. This is a new role that has come about due to continued growth and success.

Reporting to the Programme Manager the successful candidate will need to be adaptable, pragmatic and incisive with a solid commercial acumen and a demonstrable record of delivering Infrastructure, Applications and Systems projects on time and to budget. There will be substantial stakeholder and user interaction so you must be able to regularly engage with relevant individuals and ensure they are feeling supported and informed - but also manage expectations.

To succeed in this role you will need to be a driven, energetic and resilient individual. Plans over the next 2 years include an ambitious raft of both long and short term projects. Immediate projects that you will manage include a multi-site Office 365 implementation and following this an Active Directory upgrade to Azure.

The successful candidate will have skills and experience in the following:

*Full Project Lifecycle management and delivery
*Gathering and documenting business requirements
*Supplier relationship management
*Developing project plans and identifying milestones and deadlines
*RAG status updates and producing detailed reports for varying audiences
*Creation and management of RAID logs and communications plans
*MS Office, MS Project and MS Visio

The PMO is run to Prince 2 standards so experience working to this methodology is essential - a qualification would be of benefit. An APMP certification and experience with ITIL or Agile approaches would also strongly support your application.

Whilst not essential, experience delivering digital projects in an iterative framework would be advantageous.
