Job Description

The Ashdown Group have been engaged by a very successful travel company to find a friendly, proactive and talented Infrastructure Analyst with Microsoft Azure experience to join their team.

The overall remit of this role is to monitor, manage, maintain and develop the company's infrastructure and systems across all sites - UK and Internationally. You will take responsibility for problem management and will be a point of escalation ensuring that root cause analysis is carried out to prevent future incidents. Alongside other members of the technical team you will also provide support for the Avaya telephony systems.

You require a positive approach and strong problem solving skills to help drive forward change, improve processes and instill best practice measures.

You will carry out vulnerability scans and liaise with 3rd parties to conduct penetration testing, as well as help to identify opportunities for improvement, identify trends and suggest solutions. Experience working within an ITIL environment and / or ITIL qualifications would be highly valued.

*HP Servers and storage technologies - NAS, RAID, SAN

Any experience with SCCM and SCOM 2012, Load balancing (Kemp VLB and Windows NLB), Microsoft Endpoint Protection, MIMECast, Solarwinds, and Backup Solutions, business continuity and disaster planning would strongly support your application.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with a wide range of stakeholders and manage their expectations are essential qualities for this role.

This is a permanent position offering a basic salary of £40-50,000 per annum dependent on depth of relevant skills and experience. There is also an extensive benefits package including bonus opportunity.
