Job Description

A leading financial services company based in central London is looking for an experienced IT Service / Support Manager.

This senior role within the ICT department is responsible for the effective management of the IT Service Desk support function, Application Support team, and the IT Service Management team (approximately 30 support staff), ensuring excellent service levels are met as well as continuous improvement.

Day to day, the ICT Service Manager will be responsible for:
- Overseeing personnel management of the team (recruitment, performance measurement, training and personal development)
- Ensuring effective ICT communications to all company staff
- Supporting change management processes
- Ensuring all services adhere to governance processes and policies
- Overseeing the production of Management Information (MI) to enable effective monitoring, identifying of trends and the improving of services
- Delivering enhancements to services to maximise efficiency
- Managing relationships with suppliers

This IT Service Support Manager role is paying a starting salary of up to £85,000 based on skills and experience. Benefits include 25 days annual leave, excellent pension scheme, PMI, and share incentive scheme.

To be considered suitable for this IT Service Manager role you must have the following:
- Strong experience of managing large (20+) operational IT teams in a regulated environment (financial services preferred)
- Strong ITIL knowledge (certified to practitioner level preferred)
- Experience of implementing best practice methodologies (ITIL and Prince2)
- Previous experience of devising key performance indicators (KPI's) to measure department and process performance
- Ideally educated to degree level within relevant IT subject
