Job Description

A highly successful, global business based in the City of London (Liverpool Street) is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner or HR Consultant to join them.

Working predominantly with an IT and corporate functions client group you will provide full strategic and operational HR support as well as coaching and leading a small team of HR Advisors (team of two). Alongside the generalist, BAU work you will also have the opportunity to work across a range of HR projects which will make up approximately 30 % of your role. As the HR BP, key responsibilities will include:

Partner with the business areas to set the people plan; working with the senior management team to deliver
Working closely with Lead HR Business Partner to define and deliver business objective; identifying HR improvements to benefit all
Strategic development of HR initiatives
Support business change activities
Manage complex employee relations cases; providing coaching and guidance to line managers
Coach and mentor junior HR team members

The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience in a corporate, commercial environment as an HR Business Partner or HR Consultant. You will have proven experience in corporate functions; exposure to working with an IT or technology-based client group is desirable, although not essential. You will have an HR Generalist background with further exposure to Reward, Talent Development and Resourcing. In addition, you will have had experience working on HR projects alongside BAU duties.

This role is highly visible across the business and you will be partnering with senior level stakeholders; the ability to build an effective working relationship is essential. You will also need to feel confident consulting, advising and influencing stakeholders in developing and executing the global people strategy.

The salary on offer for this role is circa £70,000 plus bonus and a great benefits package.
