Due to internal promotion they have an urgent requirement for a 1st line service desk analyst to provide telephone, remote & email support to a wide number of SME businesses in the Greater London, Surrey & Hampshire area. You will have a passion for IT and a strong desire to quickly progress up to the 2nd line IT Helpdesk team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an IT support technician to join a well-established and growing IT consultancy based in the Godalming area of Guildford, Surrey. This role will be ideal for a recent university IT graduate, for someone who has recently completed their IT apprenticeship, or for someone with circa 12months+ commercial IT experience.
My client is offering a salary of between £18,000 - £23,000 + pension, healthcare, dental & life assurance. As a Microsoft Gold Partner they will provide complete and formal MCSE training and certifications. They like to promote from within and will offer extensive opportunities to progress to the 2nd line support team, 3rd line support team, and the client facing senior consultancy team.
In addition to having excellent customer service skills, you will ideally have some experience with the following core technologies:
- Call logging & remote access software
- Windows 7, Windows 8 and/or Windows 10
- MS Office & Outlook
- Active Directory
- Bespoke applications
