Content Manager - Central London - £45,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Content Manager to join a highly prestigious international organisation, on a 1 year fixed term contract.

As Content Manager, you will work in both a strategic and operational capacity to plan and execute all content for these highly regarded large scale exhibitions and conferences, to ultimately drive traffic and footfall.

The main focus of this excellent opportunity will be to research, develop, propose, organise and manage the conference content to ultimately drive the success of this global group.

This is a highly visible role within the business which will also involve the line management of a Conference Producer and Content Specialist, with an overview of the external agencies too. Additionally, acting as a specialist in your field you will have a handle on industry trends and market insights to ensure that you are creating engaging content for the events, which is perfectly aligned to suit the customer's needs.

This outstanding opportunity can be divided across; content planning and strategy, customer insights, programme creation, exhibition logistics, content analysis and digital content.

Specifically, your daily duties will include;

· Writing content plans in line with the brand guidelines and establishing relevant topics for content.
· Maintaining regular analysis of performance data and realigning tactics as necessary.
· Adopting the use of customer insight projects and managing them from end to end.
· Striving to keep abreast of industry trends, attending seminars or events to gain a deeper insight.
· Managing and overseeing the content as comprised by your subordinates and external parties.
· Supporting the speaker promotions to ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standard, ensuring speakers involve themselves in promotional activities.
· Driving editorial coverage of the events by recruiting journalists and speakers.
· Carrying out in depth analysis of performance against last year's results.
· Producing engaging content and SEO plans to drive overall strategy.

To be considered for this role, it was vital that you have exemplary verbal and written communication skills and a real passion for content marketing. You will also have experience gained across exhibitions and conferences.

In reward for your hard work, the salary on offer is between; £40,000 - £45,000 pro rata, depending on the experience you bring to the role plus 25 days holiday, pension, life assurance and a 10% KPI driven retention bonus upon completion of your assignment.
