A long standing financial services company based in central London is seeking an Application Support Analyst to join its large IT team.

Working as part of a dedicated application support team this role will involve supporting a number of financial services related applications/systems that are used across the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing helpdesk support, guidance and training to a user base across the country. There will also be a requirement to produce relevant support documentation, develop system enhancements/modifications and liaise with external software vendors.

This IT Application Support Analyst role is paying a starting salary of up to £30,000 depending on experience plus excellent benefits including 25 days annual leave (plus 8 bank holidays) pension scheme, gym membership, private healthcare and performance related bonus.

To be considered suitable for the Application Support Analyst position you must have the following:
- IT Helpdesk/Service Desk Analyst experience (including call logging and following issues through to resolution)
- Proven experience of supporting bespoke software/applications
- Understanding of software/application testing
- Excellent communication skills with a genuine enthusiasm towards a career in IT
- Strong skills with Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with Microsoft products including Windows Operating Systems and also IT infrastructure

The ideal candidate will experience of supporting financial/insurance business applications although this is not essential.
