Job Description

The Ashdown Group has been engaged by a highly successful technology MSP to assist them in their search for a 2nd / 3rd Line Support Analyst. The role will focus on the resolution of the knottier problems coming through the service desk and is likely to suit a 2nd Line Engineer looking to make the transition up to a third line role.

The successful candidate will have prior experience in a service desk environment already and will be technically adept at resolving user and infrastructure problems remotely. Strong knowledge of Windows desktop and Server technologies is essential and you will have a well-developed knowledge of networking too. Strong Active Directory skills are required too, as is solid experience of DR and BC planning and testing.

You are expected to be certified by at least one industry recognised body, ideally having Microsoft certifications as well as CompTIA, Cisco, Citrix, VMWare or similar awards to your name too.
