Windows Systems Administrator - London, City

The Ashdown Group has been engaged by a prominent specialist legal firm based in the City of London to assist them in their search for a Systems Administrator / Infrastructure Engineer. The role will focus on maintenance and management of the mainly Windows infrastructure within this friendly and professional legal firm.

The successful candidate will have considerable prior experience in an infrastructure management or Windows server administration role before. You will have a comprehensive understanding of Windows server technologies (mostly Windows 2012 and Windows 2016) and should be able completely at home with Active Directory, DHCP and DNS. The role will include demands to package and deploy software and updates to users' machines (Windows 10) and, as is the case with any small technical team (currently 6 front line staff) you will occasionally be required to chip in and resolve end user issues.

The firm makes extensive use of Hyper-V and Azure, so knowledge of server virtualization and cloud technologies is essential. Most importantly, you will have excellent communication skills and a polite, friendly manner. This is not a corporate law practice, so the atmosphere is a little more relaxed, although it remains highly professional at all times. If you believe that you have the skills and experience to succeed in a role of this nature and would like to apply, please submit a current copy of your CV in Word format quoting reference ASH16899SW in your SUBJECT LINE.

The Ashdown Group Ltd acts as an employment agency in respect of permanent vacancies and as an employment business in respect of temporary vacancies.
