A global IT business are looking for someone with experience of software development lifecycle; understanding of software on devices (Android) and servers and experienced in installation of and testing the interaction between the two.

Creating solutions for retail and supply chain giants worldwide, they need additional Integration Engineers to join their Solutions Architect team delivering and supporting complex business system solutions, such as improving asset visibility and productivity in enterprise environments and inventory and supply chain solutions, using leading mobile computing technology.

Day to day your responsibilities include:
Attend client meetings alongside the Solutions Architect, helping with customer documentation and project designs
Assist with the invitation to tender process by responding to RFPs, RFQs, RFIs,
You will spend a large part of your week on client sites troubleshooting problems, providing user support and training and helping with installs and builds.

The solutions delivered are sometimes stand alone and sometimes integrated with third party offerings. The services offered include installation, customization and commissioning for e.g. Mobile Computing Rollouts, MDM, Enterprise Software rollouts, RFID, and other Services.

To secure this role, you should be:
An accomplished Systems Engineer who has experience of the full SDLC and a good understanding of software on devices and servers and how they interact / communicate with each other.
Experienced in using proven tools and design methodologies to analyze, document, and specify complex network (WAN, LAN, WLAN) solutions.
You'll have connectivity knowledge within major operating system environments using current standard protocols and the ability to propose and design cross platform system solutions.
You should have demonstrable experience working with mobile solutions and networking technology. Any experience with SOTI, Wavelink or Airwatch would be considered particularly advantageous.

When you are not at client sites or meetings, you can work remotely and will be required to attend monthly team meetings in the Buckinghamshire / Berkshire area.
