Join a global technology business, working with market leading brands around the UK testing and installing software on a variety of devices and servers. We're looking for customer focused, resourceful and driven individuals with experience of software development lifecycle as well as an understanding of databases (SQL) to apply expertise to architect, deliver and support complex business system solutions.
In addition to providing Troubleshooting, Support and Training Services to direct customers as well as channel partners .The role is involved with both pre and post sales.
Presales activities include; support selling large and / or complex Mobile Computing Solutions, prepare and attend customer meetings,
respond to RFPs, RFQs, RFIs etc. create customer documentation (e.g. presentations, Project Designs, Project Scope Definitions, Quotations, SOW, Technical Design Documentation etc.)
Post sales activities include: Deliver Assess, Design and Deployment Services for large and/or complex Mobile Computing Solutions, deliver complex business system solutions using either the products either stand alone or integrated with third party product offerings.
Services include installation, customization and commissioning for e.g. Mobile Computing Rollouts, MDM, Enterprise Software Solutions and Rollouts, RFID, and other Services.
To secure this role you should be an accomplished Software Integration Engineering, ideally with a degree in computer science, electrical engineering or a related field, who demonstrates a high level of experience and success working in enterprise environments, demonstrating connectivity knowledge within major operating system environments using current standard protocols and the ability to propose and design cross platform system solutions.
You must also have in depth knowledge of software development lifecycle, experience in installing and testing software on Android devices and knowledge of Mobile Computing and Mobile Computer Operating Systems such as Windows Mobile, CE, Android, iOS, Windows and Unix Operating and Database systems.
o As well as experience in using proven tools and design methodologies to analyse, document, and specify complex network (WAN, LAN, WLAN) solutions. The ability to plan and perform major systems integration and test system hardware and software interoperability is also useful. Experience with ruggedized devices would be advantageous.
Starting salary for this role is up to £50,000 depending on skills and experience, plus £5.4k car allowance, 10% bonus and additional benefits.
