Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded, technical SEO Manager, to join a dynamic team within a rapidly expanding, multi-billion pound, digital entertainment business.

As the SEO Manager, you will be responsible for all strategy and management of SEO activities for the brand across all countries, delivering traffic from search results, helping to improve the business rankings. You will therefore, be liaising regularly with the Content, Product, Conversions and Technology departments to ensure the implementation of the on-site SEO strategy.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for SEO content development, liaising with the relevant team to produce content needed for campaigns. Additionally, assisting with the SEO Market Intelligence teams to monitor the industry so you are able to establish and react to trends. As well as this, identifying keyword gaps that will form the foundations for larger campaigns and developing SEO tactics in line with the search engine algorithm changes.

To thrive within this position, you must have proven experience interpreting data metrics using a range of cutting edge analytical tools. This will enable you to deliver insightful analysis, reports and recommendations.

To be considered for this role you must;
-Have extensive optimisation experience including offsite and onsite.
-Have a strong understanding of search engine friendly website design with the ability to make critical design and technical recommendations to Web Developers.
-Have been through a migration.
-Have demonstrable experience with link building and an understanding of the tactics so you are able to analyse/challenge agency suggestions.
-Have experience working in large organisations, co-ordinating and liaising with multiple departments and other stakeholders involved in SEO optimisation.

Although not essential, experience in the gaming industry or across similar verticals, would be considered highly advantageous. Otherwise someone from a fast paced e-commerce, digital environment could be a good fit.
