Working alongside another 3rd Line Support Technician as well as the wider desktop support team, the role holder will provide 3rd line infrastructure/server/telephony support and be a key member of the IT Support Team. You'll also assist the Service Desk Manager in managing more junior members of the team.
The candidate must have the following skills up to 3rd line level:
*Microsoft Windows Server 2008, 2012 R2
*Demonstrable experience of supporting IT projects
*Previous experience of Exchange 2010 administration
*Operating Systems: Windows XP/7/8/10
*MS Office 2010
*Strong knowledge of Active Directory
*Knowledge of DHCP, WINS, DNS
*Network Security Fundamentals
Working hours will be based on a rota that covers Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5:30pm. Candidates should expect to work up to 37.5 hours over five days between Monday and Friday plus provide on call support one Weekend in Four. A full driving licence is also essential.
Naturally excellent communication, teamwork and customer service skills will be crucial in this role.
