Job Description

A market leading private equity and fund administration firm is seeking a Senior Compliance Consultant to help manage compliance infrastructure set-up on behalf of their private equity and real estate clients whilst providing guidance to the rest of the team. This role will report into the Managing Director for Compliance.

You'll mainly assist clients with day-to- day compliance requests, providing compliance infrastructure development advice and implementations as well as on-going monitoring.

The role holder will also produce client reports, providing information to clients on periodic and pro-active basis and will participate in pitching services and projects when required.

To be considered you will have the following skills/experience:

* Understanding of the FCA handbook, regulatory transactions (authorisations, variations, section 178 notifications etc.), GABRIEL
* Understanding the principles of managing financial assets and can track and maintain awareness of client engagements and monitor profitability.
* Developing strong relationships with clients and intermediaries, building new relationships and contacts to develop the business.
* Displaying a broad knowledge of the market in which the firm operates, and understands the business objective and growth intentions.
* Responding to risk situations and stays up to date with appropriate legislation and professional standards.
*Good IT system competence is essential.
* Must be willing to consistently volunteer and pitch in to help other team members who are under pressure.
*As the firm grows, the individual must be able to inspire others through own actions and behaviour, and provide mentoring to more junior members of staff.
