Sales Engineer (Inside) - South Buckinghamshire - £40,000 + £10,000 commission and additional benefits.
Fantastic opportunity for a technical sales engineer looking to move into an internal role, acting as a technical expert and pre sales support to the Inside Channel Sales and Account Management Teams within a global technology firm.

This is a new role within a market leading business, achieving continuous growth, that is paving the way with mobile computing technology. The role will be varied and offer the incumbent the opportunity to also lead the development of a training portal and create a body of technical documents, specs, workshop content and training documents that Inside Channel Account Managers can reference and use to support their Sales Process and better understand their channel partners requirements. This is likely to be developed on SharePoint.

As the role supports the Inside Channel Account Management team, there is no requirement to travel, but you will provide support to the team through providing your expertise on calls or webinars with their channel partners and assisting with any internal demos or events, or helping on board new members to the Inside Channel Sales team to develop their product knowledge and understanding.

Through this interaction with the channel partners, you will also become the voice of the customer, sharing your understanding of their requirements with the support, product development and AM teams. You will be a regular contributor to the Inside Channel team meetings

Who are you?
You will be someone with knowledge of mobile computing, printing solutions, scanning or RFID technology.
You might have spent a year or two in a similar Sales Engineering role and not want to travel so much,
Or perhaps you are keen to develop more of a focus on the knowledge sharing / training aspects of your role.

To secure the role, you must be:
An excellent communicator - both verbally and written with experience in a similar role with knowledge of similar technology.
The ideal person to secure the role will be technically adept and passionate about knowledge sharing, driven to support the Account Management team in their roles. Also someone who will develop an in depth understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of the company's product offerings across their markets and who will demonstrate a passion and enthusiasm for the technology they develop and business as a whole.
Any SharePoint site management or App Development skills would also be highly advantageous, but not at all essential to securing the role.
