Job Description

A highly successful and growing business is looking for a positive Payroll Clerk to be based in the Wokingham area, Berkshire due to growth. The successful candidate will report into the Payroll Manager and be part of a small team responsible for payroll production in accordance with statutory regulations for an established portfolio of clients. Duties will include arranging payments using the payroll and accounts software (full training will be provided), administering statutory sick, maternity and paternity pay schemes, processing leavers, expenses and pensions as well as providing advice to clients in relation to pay, Taxation and National Insurance.

In order to be suitable for this role you must have proven experience working in a Payroll Clerk, Payroller or similar role, ideally in a Payroll Bureau or umbrella company environment. It is essential to have strong Payroll experience, an aptitude for figures, excellent attention to detail and well as strong knowledge of Payroll software and MS Office (Excel and Outlook particularly).
