Job Description

A very successful organisation with expansion plans in 2018 wants to hire a Payroll Clerk to provide administrative support to its 1,300 staff in the heart of Grimsby. They are looking for a Payroll Clerk, with proven payroll experience, to join their small, tight-knit team to help assist with the preparation of payroll.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable with the following parts of the role:

-Providing administrative support in all respects of payroll procedures
-Dealing with internal and external queries
-Dealing with payroll and pension transactional work in an efficient and effective manner
-Supporting senior team members in the preparation of the payroll
-Responding to claims for extra payments for expenses when necessary
-Process payments for new starters and part-time hourly in a timely manner
-Creating reports and checking the accuracy of the payroll
-Perform tasks such as enrolment, which fit in with the overall purpose of the role
