Job Description

A rapidly growing retail chain is seeking a Marketing Manager to execute the marketing strategy.

To be considered you must have extensive experience of marketing and with a strong analytical focus. Experience gained from an FMCG / Consumer Goods / Retail background, would be considered particularly advantageous.

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for driving sales through digital and direct marketing channels. This is a hands-on position where you will manage the full marketing mix on your own, therefore you must be comfortable working within a standalone role.

You must have extensive B2C marketing experience where you will have managed the delivery of marketing plans to generate profitable sales and growth. You will have the ability to manage and coordinate media, creative and research agencies, be proficient in budget management and have experience managing stakeholders.

With rapid expansion in the pipeline you will be involved in the promotion of new store launches.

You will also have responsibility for:

- Coordinating the preparation and production of all promotional material, packaging, leaflets and digital content
- Managing the marketing budget and marketing/promotion plan
- Preparing press releases related to promotional activity
- Prepare and implement all email marketing, including conducting segmentation and campaign reporting
- Managing social media channels
- Monitoring and reporting on competitor activity
- Charity campaign organisation and promotion

This Marketing Manager role is offering a salary of £40,000 with the opportunity to earn a £12K bonus aligned to increased sales.
