Job Description

A successful professional services business with an established client base is looking for a talented and articulate Interim Marketing Manager (Professional Services sector) to be based in their Cambridge office (commutable from Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Essex & Suffolk). This is a fixed term contract for initially 9 months, covering maternity leave.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for an operational Marketing Team and spearhead the firm's business development and client relationship management strategies. The role will cover the full marketing mix including overseeing the marketing team, continually improving efficiencies, maintaining cost control, expanding relationships with existing and prospective clients, providing advice and support to department heads, promoting and encouraging cross-selling between specialist areas, managing the firm's PR activities (media liaison, professional publications and communications strategy), overseeing implementation of the firm's internal communication plan, maintaining the website (content upload, back links, SEO), managing the contact / CRM database, managing key projects, co-ordinating the marketing budget, reporting to the board and liaising with 3rd parties.

In order to be considered for this opportunity you must have experience working in a Marketing Manager, Senior Marketing Executive, Marketing Officer, Marketing Co-ordinator or similar senior marketing position within the professional services firm / practice (Accountancy, Law, Architecture, Medical…etc.). It is essential to have experience of the full marketing mix including social media, events management, CRM marketing, lead generation, tender preparation, competitor analysis and copywriting. A pragmatic and systematic approach as well as a full UK driving licence is also required.
