A global research company with US head office and key central London base, have a satellite research lab in Bromley, Kent and require an Audio Visual Technician on this site to support a variety of specialist AV equipment.
The research lab is a critical part of the organisation, where both internal users and external customers attend numerous meetings and presentations. Equipment includes PTZ cameras, video routers, mixers, amplifiers and microphones.
Much of the equipment is network based so in addition to an excellent understanding of hardware systems, your hands-on Windows Server and networking (some video streaming protocols knowledge would be a bonus - RTMP, HLS and Silverlight) knowledge should be solid.
Some travel to the central London office will be required. This is a customer-facing role so communication and presentation standards must be high.
