Job Description

A professional media business, working with industry professionals across marketing and media in the UK, is growing their digital marketing team and looking for someone to join them focusing on Marketing Analytics and User Experience.

Reporting to the Data Insight Manager, you will be adept at using Google Analytics, confident analysing and interpreting data to help build effective marketing strategies and digital offerings.

The marketing team to date has been much more focused on traditional marketing, with minimal digital focus, so this role offers the incumbent the chance to really drive change and bring a fresh marketing perspective.

You will also work closely with the various marketing campaign managers and advise on digital marketing strategies, Google AdWords campaigns, ROI and results from various campaign analytics and regularly meet with the Head of Marketing to report on findings.

A large focus will be on the website and online customer platform, looking at user experience, analysing the customer journey, taking responsibility for SEO and new page layouts. Although you will work with an outside agency on UX, you should be confident with basic HTML so you can make basic website changes, in particular with the tracking code placed in the header of sites.

In addition to the above, you will also take responsibility for email marketing campaigns and should be experienced using one of the platforms such as Adestra, Marketo, Dotmailer, Campaign Monitor.

To secure the role, you will be an expert with Google Analytics, adept at Facebook Advertising, have Ad Server experience and confident using other social media platforms. In addition to being a naturally analytical person, you should also demonstrate a creative side, with a good eye for design. Some experience of InDesign and Photoshop would be preferred for adjusting and resizing files.

The starting salary for this role is £35,000 and offers the incumbent the opportunity to really help develop the company's digital marketing offerings. To register your interest for the role, please end a Word copy of your CV with the reference ASH16533/3EWN.
