If so, a global technology business, working with enterprise retail, supply chain, healthcare and manufacturing businesses, is seeking a Junior Technical Sales Engineer to lead sales opportunities from the technical point of view and demonstrate your exceptional communication skills.
Working with our high performing Account Management and Solutions team, and closely with the Senior Sales Engineers, you will be aligned by vertical but, also have the opportunity to be flexible and apply your skills outside of this too.
It will be your responsibility to demonstrate your specialist knowledge, to play an intrinsic part in the sales process. You will build solid working relationships with a key client base by lending your technical credibility. Through the promotion of solutions, and utilizing the vast range of products and services, you will strive to deliver customer satisfaction and development of sales plans and proposals.
In addition; your expertise will be fundamental to assist the Virtual and Solutions team, you will provide support at commercial shows and seminars, you might deliver professional technical presentations for a wide audience including prospective clients and you will work closely with the product development teams to be the 'voice of the customer'.
As a junior Pre-Sales Engineer, you will work alongside some Senior Sales Engineers, but at the same time developed with the view to becoming a Senior Sales Engineer yourself.
The successful person will have experience of working with either Mobile Computing, Advance Data Capture, RFID Technologies or wired and wireless networking solutions. Experience with Android based devices or solutions and exposure to how software solutions are put together would also be highly advantageous. It is essential to have worked in a similar technical sales role within at least one of the following vertical markets: Education, Healthcare, Retail, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Transportation and Logistics.
In addition, you must be able to demonstrate your ability to work to plans by setting priorities and produce results which are ultimately measureable, it is also essential to have strong customer facing pre-sales engineering experience, you will be required to be flexible and be able to travel across the UK. Day to day, you will manage your own diary, largely working from home and visiting client sites.
