Java Developer (Extensive training and development offered) - North London - £35,000 plus 25 days holiday and benefits

A well-established financial services organisation based in North London are seeking a Java Developer to join their internal IT team.

Located within easy reach of public transport links, your responsibilities will include; full lifecycle application development, software testing and quality assurance and contributing to future projects (of which there are several already in the pipeline).

The ideal candidate will be commercially astute and have a keen interest in current technology, trends and related practices of the trade.

Experience of the following is required:

- Working as a Java Developer in a commercial environment
- Knowledge of Web tier technologies and design patterns (MVC)
- Working with Relational databases (design and scripting)
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, RESTful web services

Any knowledge of the following would be of benefit; Spring, Hibernate, Struts 1 and 2, Agile - Scrum, Apache, Tomcat, Eclipse / Netbeans IDE, MS SQL Server, T-SQL, SVN / Git, UML, Use Cases, Cloud/AWS, Micro Services, Maven.

A relevant IT degree or qualification would also support your application.

This is a permanent position offering a basic salary of up to £35,000 per annum, dependent on skills and experience.
