Job Description

An exciting opportunity for a Java Developer to join a brand new technical team based in London, has opened up with a reputable and well known business that has global presence within the gaming industry.

Reporting to the Technical Team Lead, you will be working on a number of brands on their mobile site making sure the user experience, performance and availability is top priority.

You will be working with the latest technologies including Java 8, Docker, MongoDB, MySQL, React and Drop Wizard with the opportunity to also implement any others which you would recommend as they are always open to new ideas and solutions. You will work with all parts of the system and end to end in the development which includes integrations with external systems, development of internal components and subsystems and sometimes frontend development for mobile and desktop services.

To be considered for this role you must;
-Be advanced with Java!
-5+ years experience working in a similar role
-Have a strong understanding of microservices architectures and RESTFul web services
-Be able to write and tune your own SQL

Although not essential, experience with React, Node.js, jQuery, or RequireJS would be considered highly advantageous.
