Job Description

A successful international financial services firm is seeking an IT Training professional to take responsibility for IT Training and assisting with GDPR compliance across the UK side of the business.

Reporting to the IT Director, you will provide IT Training to the client's two sites, in Central London and Leatherhead. With three days being spent in Leatherhead and two days in London.

Your role will consist of delivering sessions to both individual or small groups. You will ensure that your training is aligned with the organisation's vision including; systems, best practices, data protection and topics of compliance.

You will help the business to meet its requirements towards the GDPR regulation, forming part of a task force to support this from a training perspective and looking at how the training for this can be rolled out across the business.

Additionally, some ad-hoc IT support may be needed via the helpdesk. This would be a minimal part of the role and will not feature heavily.

Your daily duties will include:

New starter induction training.

Reviewing all training material to ensure it is up to date and useful.

Creation of your training materials to ensure they are always relevant to your audience.

Analyse IT training needs across the business and have input as to how best to meet these requirements.

Some 1st line IT Support via the Helpdesk, in instances such as covering holidays, sickness and busy periods.

Design and roll out process training towards GDPR.

To be successful in this role you will:

You will have some experience delivering IT training already within a commercial setting; however, they are also happy to consider people relatively new to IT training, who are looking to build their experience in this area.

Will have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills.

Have held a similar role, with demonstrable experience in delivering IT training.

Have a positive nature and communicate training of a technical kind.

Confident providing essential IT Support and have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office - in particular, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
