Job Description

A well-established law firm is looking to add an IT Trainer to their IT team. They'll be based in London and will provide IT training to circa 200 users based there as well as train up new starters. This role offers the opportunity to develop and deliver on a new training strategy for the firm.

To be considered for this role you MUST have experience of providing IT Training in a law firm or professional services partnership

Responsibilities include:

* Perform regular training needs analysis
* Organising and delivering the induction training for new starters
* Design and delivery of training courses of any new software to be rolled out by the IT Department. This is to include the preparation of training materials including manuals, flashcards, e-learning, training exercises and regular floor walking
* Ensure existing course materials, other learning aids and documentation is kept updated
* Provide formal classroom training, desk-side training and workshops in all the core software used as well as any other applications
* Promote new software or changes to the system through various means
* Pass on pertinent information gained whilst training to the rest of the Support team
* Inputting critique forms into the training database for future analysis
* To assist with any User Groups
* Assisting with project roll-outs and testing
* Provide training to the Desktop Support team
* To pass on pertinent information gained whilst training to the rest of the Support team


**Professional services background essential (legal services ideal!)**

* A professional telephone manner and excellent customer facing skills
* An in-depth knowledge of Desktop Operating Systems and Microsoft Office
* Professional and diligent approach and attitude
* Ensure an excellent customer service is delivered to the business through a methodical and professional approach
* Excellent PC desktop skills
* Commitment to high levels of Customer Service and satisfaction
* Good understanding of PC hardware and IT equipment
* High quality of work
* Ability to communicate at all levels across the firm
* Team player with the ability to manage your own individual workload
