An IT Telephony Engineer is required on a 6 month contract in the London office of a company that specialise in personal and corporate entertainment, and operates on a global scale. This company has been established for about 15 years and turns over approximately £30m per annum from their UK operation.
This role will focus on the management of the telephony systems and contact centre platform to ensure its ongoing operation, capacity planning and issue resolution along with the set up of new telephony routing plans.
Key responsibilities include:
Monitoring core IT and telephony systems to ensure availability
Resolving end user issues which are escalated from the helpdesk
Lifecycle management of telephony queues
Management of country level VPNs to support internal and external VOIP traffic
Capacity and performance planning
Develop and implement Disaster Recovery and contingency plans
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of LAN/WAN networking as well as an excellent knowledge of Avaya VOIP systems.
The daily rate on offer for this role is £350 p/d.
