Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior level IT Support Technician to join a well-established and growing firm based in the Slough Trading Estate to provide 1st line telephone & remote IT support.

To be considered for this 1st line support role you must have some previous experience of working on an IT service desk providing ticket logging, fault response, equipment allocation, inventory management and service request fulfilment.

Working with a Senior IT Engineer and a Mid-Level Engineer you will gain full training and mentoring to progress with your technical skills, customer skills and your career in general.

The ideal candidate will be friendly, outgoing, confident, dynamic, diplomatic, enthusiastic, approachable, logical and adaptable. You will be the first point of contact between all users and the IT department and thus will be liaising with everyone from reception & admin staff up to directors & board members.

Although full training & mentoring will be provided, you must have a strong grounding with the following core technologies:
- Call logging & remote access service desk tools
- Windows 7 &/or Windows 10
- Office & Outlook
- Active Directory

This role is based in the Slough Trading Estate working for a highly respected international organisation that has been in business for almost 40 years.
