The Ashdown Group has been engaged by a successful business that delivers IT services and support to a range of local SMEs, to find a friendly, confident and motivated 1st Line Support Analyst to join their team.

The successful candidate will deliver effective and timely technical support to a variety of clients and customers with a broad range of technical environments giving huge opportunity for learning. Strong customer service, communication and problem solving skills are essential for this role, as is a good knowledge of desktop operating systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Any experience with the below would strongly support your application:

• Experience working on a Service Desk using a call logging system
• Exchange Server and Active Directory
• Troubleshooting Windows 7 and Office 2010 issues
• Office 365 support
• Managing hardware requests, set-up and support
• Managing IT administration and assets

This is the ideal role for a graduate with a good degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline i.e. Computer Science, Information Technology or Business Systems with a placement year / year in industry. The client is also very interested in applicants from a relevant apprenticeship background.

It is essential that you have a full UK driving license and your own transport for this role as on occasion you will be required to visit various clients.

Easily commutable from Stevenage, Luton, Hitchin, Harpenden, St Albans, Welwyn Garden City, Letchworth Garden City, Enfield.
