Job Description

An award winning and very well established archaeology charity are now seeking a 1st Line Support Engineer to join their user-focused and friendly team.

Reporting to the Head of IT, you will be the primary contact for support calls, logging tickets and troubleshooting in a timely manner in order to find any problems that may be easy to fix, to then escalate more intermediate cases to the senior support.

To be considered for this role you must have;
-A valid driving license as there will be a requirement for travel to other offices.
-Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Office 365
-Experience supporting Windows desktop operating systems, ideally Windows 7 to 10.
-Excellent interpersonal skills to deliver a high level of service to all users with a friendly and logical approach.

Although not essential, an accreditation with Microsoft, VMWare or Cisco would be considered highly advantageous. As well as recent experience providing second line support and helping to deploy Windows Operating System.
