Job Description

We have been engaged by a large manufacturing firm, in their search for an enthusiastic and proactive IT Support Analyst to join their growing team. Based from their Shepton Mallet site, you will be providing 1st/2nd line user support to your colleagues as well as helping the Senior IT Staff manage the overall IT Infrastructure.

In order to be suitable for this role you must have demonstrable expertise providing 1st and 2nd line support in a Windows environment. Working within a small IT team means you'll need to be proactive and hardworking with a 'can do' attitude. You are expected to have a solid grounding in Windows OS, Office 2013/2016/365, Exchange and Active Directory. Any experience supporting Windows server technology would be high advantageous to your application.

Our client works to a 37 hour week, operating on an alternating shift pattern with the other 2 members of staff in the IT department. The shift patterns are as follows: 6.30AM - 2.30PM and 10AM-6PM. You will also be enrolled onto a 1 in 3 week on call rota for which an allowance will be provided.
