IT Support Analyst / IT Assistant / Desktop Support
A well respected and international specialist technology law firm, who invest heavily in their technology, are now seeking a Junior IT Support Analyst for their high performing IT team, in fantastic offices in the heart of the City.

Working as part of the IT Team, you will support IT, telephony and video conferencing services for the business.
Day to day your responsibilities might include:

· Local and remote support for IT related issues for all office based and remote users.
· Assisting with the day to day organisation and deployment of resources ranging from computer hardware / software, mobiles and videoconferencing equipment.
· Assist with the general administration of the network.
· Assist with installation and configuration of software and hardware on new and existing computers.
· Maintaining a high level of confidentiality at all times, exercising discretion and good judgment when dealing with confidential matters.
· Promoting Information Security awareness across the firm.

To be successful in securing the role, you should also demonstrate:

· Some commercial experience in a similar role.
· Ideally an IT related degree or professional certifications.
· Good knowledge of Windows 2012/16, Active Directory and some Group Policy.
· Good knowledge of network infrastructure - such as TCP/IP, routing, switches, vLANs firewalls, DHCP, DNS, SMTP.
· Knowledge of Windows 10, Office 2016.
· Passionate about new technology.
· Good troubleshooting/ analytical skills.
· Strong communication (both verbal & written) and interpersonal skills.
· Strong organisational skills including planning, prioritising, timekeeping and meeting deadlines.
· Be a strong Team player but capable of working independently.

Any experience with Office 365, knowledge of NetDocuments DMS, VMware, VEEAM Backup & Replication software would be considered desirable.
