Job Description

Due to growth and expansion my client has a newly created role for a 1st line IT support analyst to join a small but busy IT department providing deskside user support.

The ideal candidate will have some previous experience providing 1st line IT support - ideally from a placement year, an internship or commercial experience.

You will need to demonstrate experience in the following technical areas:
- Windows 7, 8.1 &/or 10
- MS Office & Outlook
- Active Directory user admin
- Basic Exchange admin
- Basic network troubleshooting
- VoIP / Telecoms / Telephony administration and troubleshooting
- Printers / peripherals (basic 1st line issues)

In addition, any cross platform support skills would be a distinct advantage, both Windows and Mac desktop support. Experience of IIS or SQL Server would also be beneficial, but not essential.

Working with another IT support analyst you will be based on-site at one of the company's offices and will be responsible for responding to 1st line support issues raised on site, but also providing remote support to some calls from users in other offices. You will need to be comfortable working in a customer facing support position, with the ability to communicate with non-technical end users.
