Job Description

A fantastic opportunity for a Junior Project Manager keen to join a successful and well-established software house, enjoying continued growth, who can offer the right candidate great career progression.

Reporting into the Head of Project Management and working closely with the development, BA teams and testing teams, you will initially manage a variety of small - medium short term projects, working your way up to the more complex and long term solutions, under the guidance of the Head of Project Management over time. That being said, although there is room for progression, it is absolutely essential you already have experience as a Project Manager, a good understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), and are confident taking complete ownership of the projects from start to finish.

This is a very successful software business and as such the PM team is a very busy one. Whoever takes on this role, must be able to think on their feet, be very well organised, methodical, technical, able to multi task and use their initiative. In addition as project manager you are in a customer facing role and as such we would expect you to have exceptional communication and customer relation skills and be assertive and able to influence.

You must be confident managing change and operational lifecycles, maintaining all system documents - process mapping, change requests, training materials and managing individual project budgets.

The successful candidate will be Prince2 qualified or similar, have experience in a similar Project Management role and ideally have PM experience gained in eCommerce solutions and/or working with supply chain and logistics businesses. It is essential you are technically adept with a good understanding of SDLC and Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project.

Starting salary is up to £40,000, plus decent holiday and benefits package and fantastic opportunity for career development in a fast growing, fun and high performing IT solutions business.
