Job Description

A reputable global brand is looking for a talented IT Infrastructure Manager / Senior Systems Administrator to join an established team based from impressive offices in the Paddington area, Central London (Commutable from parts of Middlesex, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and Surrey).

Reporting into the IT Director and as part of the IT leadership team, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, supporting and developing all elements of the UK IT infrastructure. While this is a senior role with line management responsibilities, the IT Infrastructure Manager will also be required to provide technical insight for BAU support and projects.

In order to be suitable for this requirement you must have proven experience working in a Senior Systems Administrator, Lead Infrastructure Engineer, Network Manager, Systems Manager, Infrastructure Manager or similar senior infrastructure role, ideally for a medium to large sized user base in a fast moving industry. It is essential to have a strong Linux (ideally Redhat or CentOS), Active Directory and VMWare systems administration skills as well as cloud technology (AWS), back-up solutions and managing / configuring enterprise wide LANs, WANs, WLANs and VPNs. An RHCE / RHCSA qualification would be highly desireable, but not essential.

This IT Infrastructure Manager / Senior Systems Administrator role would suit a technically strong candidate with some mentoring, team or project leading experience that is looking for the next step in their career.
