A leading financial services company based in central London is currently looking for an experienced IT Cyber Security Analyst to join its expanding team.
This exciting role will join the company's Cyber Security team with a focus on delivering the analysis and prevention of emerging IT threats. Duties will include:
- Developing recommendations to cyber security configuration improvements
- Educating IT teams to support awareness of cyber issues
- Own cyber security incidents and effectively manage through to resolution
- Organise and review penetration testing reports and results
- Work with internal teams to eliminate system vulnerabilities
- Develop the cyber security roadmap
- Ensure maintenance of cyber security policies, procedures and guides
This IT Cyber Security Analyst role is paying a starting salary of £35,000 to £47,000 (based on experience) plus excellent benefits including bonus, 25 days holiday, excellent pension, health insurance and gym membership.
To be considered suitable for this IT Security Analyst role you must have the following skills/experience:
- Relevant IT/governance qualification (such as CompTIA Security+, CASP, CEH, CISSP, NCSC, ITIL, ISO27001 or COBIT)
- Strong background in cyber security, ideally within a regulated environment such as financial services
- Knowledge of cyber and information security concepts including threat vectors, attack techniques & lifecycles, defence models, design principles, industry standards and IT risk frameworks
- Good knowledge of networks, database design, software and hardware infrastructure (web, routers/switches, mobile devices, Windows operating systems and servers
- Data encryption standards and technologies
