IT Administrator / Service Desk Analyst - Yorkshire

The Ashdown Group has been engaged by a major European enterprise to assist them in their search for a Service Desk Analyst to join their IT Service Desk team based in Yorkshire. The role will focus on the coordination of the service desk environment and administrative support of the service desk team to ensure that the business enjoys the best possible service from their IT support function.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and influencer and will be highly organised and able to organise others. Basic user administration skills using Active Directory and Exchange Server would be particularly useful, as would prior experience of using an IT Service Management (ITSM) tool. Experience of knowledge sharing using SharePoint would also be of particular interest.

You will need to be familiar with the ITIL Service Management structure and will be ITIL certified to at least Foundation level. It is anticipated that you will have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with SAP would be advantageous, but is ot essential.
