Job Description

A small media firm with a turnover of approximately £1.8m is looking for an Interim Accounts Manager / Bookkeeper to be based in the London Bridge area. This will be a fixed term contract for initially 12 months (from the start of September), covering maternity leave.

Reporting into the Managing Director and working closely with an external Accountant, the successful candidate will be tasked with general day to day management of the accounts function including General Ledger, Payroll, Bank Reconciliations and VAT returns.

In order to be suitable for this role you must have experience in a Bookkeeper, Assistant Accountant, Accounts Manager or similar role. It is essential to have strong knowledge of Quickbooks as well as experience in the following:
* Managing all aspects of the purchase ledger.
* Chasing purchase orders.
* Handling all aspects of the invoice schedule.
* Manual and computerized book-keeping
* Running Payroll
