Job Description

One of the world's leading corporate relocation businesses that specialises in delivering their services on a global, national and regional basis are now seeking an Infrastructure and Helpdesk Support Analyst to add to their support team.

Reporting to the IT Manager, you will play a pivotal part in the team, working closely with helpdesk and business to help deliver and resolve any issues. You will be covering their IT and user support dealing with 2nd and 3rd line issues and escalating cases when necessary.

Working mainly on the telephone, providing your support remotely, you will need to already have commercial experience of providing IT support in a primarily Microsoft based environment. The core role focuses on troubleshooting Windows OS, Windows servers, Exchange, Hyper-V and the associated network technologies.

Many of the support calls will come from non-technical users and you will be expected to demonstrate excellent customer service skills. You should be confident on the telephone and will need good written English, to communicate with users over email.

To secure this role, successful candidates should have excellent:
- Hyper V setup and management
- Group Policy Management
- Web Patching
- Cisco routers and VPN configuration
- Some SQL database maintenance
- Citrix experience

You may come from a strong 2nd line support role or have worked in a similar environment with good proportion and capacity to take on a bit of 3rd line support within this role.

Occasionally you will travel to site to handle hardware issues. Training will be provided as part of the role. The business is keen to develop the team and will want to ensure that your knowledge increases over time.
